Louise is an art instructor who has changed how I see and create art. She is sensible, easy on the ears, and has great wisdom regarding art in particular and life in general. Her online group, Art Tribe, is a very important important community for me. Please give it a look.

I discovered Judy Woods when I saw her mentioned repeatedly on Facebook and Instagram. I was intrigued by the creative product that came from her students, so I took her stARTs course and loved it. Judy lives in New Zealand, and offers a fresh insight into abstract painting, giving the viewers the confidence to experiment and play with paint and assorted tools. She has a calm and peaceful demeanor and her encouragement comes through loud and clear.

Nick Wilton, the founder of Art2Life, is an artist based in San Francisco. He has been teaching art for many years and has created a very approachable program for new or experienced artists. Through his course, Creative Visionary Program (CVP), Nick helps us to see the basic foundations of painting, whether abstract or representational.

Evelyn Jacob is the first artist/mother/entrepreneur I met when I moved to Santa Barbara in 1976. We have been the closest of friends ever since, watching our lives unfold in parallel.

Laurie Salmela was my very first art teacher; she held a two-hour class in watercolor on a Saturday long ago – I attended and was hooked. A few years later she invited me to share her studio/gallery at the Northrup King Building in the heart of the Minneapolis Art District. I have been there over 12 years and she is still teaching me.
